A character design exercise for a motion graphics course. The final animation is a dog riding a motor bike in the desert to the song La Grange by ZZ Top, inspired by my own dog and my excitement about the warming weather at the time. The assets were created in Illustrator and composited in After Effects.

The dust trail was done in Photoshop as a frame-by-frame sketch to get a fluid loop, which was then recreated as vector shapes in Illustrator, and composited in After Effects as a looping 1 second animated asset.
